Pranali: Automating Inquiries with AI
The Pranali is an intelligent voice assistant built on the Inya.ai platform to streamline and automate the educational institution’s admissions process. This agent handles a high volume of student inquiries, provides accurate information, and automates meeting scheduling, allowing the admissions team to focus on meaningful interactions.
Why the Admission Agent?
This project was developed to modernize the traditional admissions workflow, which is often slow and manual. The agent eliminates scheduling conflicts, ensures consistent information delivery, and provides 24/7 availability to prospective students and their parents, creating a more efficient and positive experience from the very first point of contact.
Core Capablities
The project is powered by a single, highly specialized AI agent that handles the entire admissions inquiry flow:
Inquiry Handler: The agent, Pranali, greets callers and answers a wide range of questions about courses (JEE, NEET, CET, etc.), fees, and the academy's past track record, all based on a comprehensive knowledge base.
Smart Scheduler: It intelligently checks the real-time availability of the admissions team and, upon user confirmation, books a one-to-one meeting directly into a Google Calendar.
Persona-Driven Interaction: The agent maintains a friendly, slightly witty, and confident tone, making the conversation feel natural and welcoming.
Integrated Actions: The agent can be configured with integrations to perform actions like sending an SMS via Twilio or tracking call outcomes using disposition analytics.
How the Agent works:
Call Triggered: A prospective student initiates a call to the admissions line.
Information & Inquiry: The agent answers questions about courses, exams, and the institution's details.
Meeting Request: If interested, the user can request a meeting with the admissions team.
Availability Check: The agent checks the team's calendar for open slots.
Booking & Confirmation: A meeting is booked in Google Calendar and confirmed with the user.
